We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager Intern to join our marketing team. The intern will play a key role in enhancing our online presence by managing and engaging with our audiences across various social media platforms. This role is ideal for a passionate individual eager to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content marketing, and digital engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload and schedule posts across all yam Education’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content (images, videos, reels, stories, carousels, etc.) that aligns with yam Education’s brand and marketing goals.

  • Monitor social media trends and industry developments to keep our platforms relevant and engaging.

  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns, including paid advertising initiatives.

  • Research and identify influencers, brand ambassadors, and partnership opportunities to enhance yam Education’s visibility.

  • Stay updated on best practices for each social media platform to optimize content performance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: English or French (fluency in both is an advantage).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.).

  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut is a plus.

  • Passion for social media trends and digital marketing.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
